Thank God! Now I can sleep..

October 30th, 2007

As many of you are aware, the “Curse Of The Former Red Sox Relief Pitcher Curtis Leskanic” has been broken and the Red Sox have won the World Series, meaning I can finally get back to going to bed before 2AM. What you might not be aware of, however, is that football season has apprently started (well, EVERYONE knows all about #2 Boston College, I’m talking about the NFL).

Anywho, how are the Pats are doing? I haven’t really been paying attention, are they any good?

Due to the overwhelming online support, in addition to the $1545 I raised “offline” from friends and co-workers, my grand total for donations were $1545. Awesome!!

I do have to thank Tom, Steve, and Greg though for making VERY generous donations. The Schulte family loves you all very much.

Anywho, here’s a video (the parts with me in it are 9 years and 40 pounds ago).

10 Years Cancer Free!

September 10th, 2007

During my freshman year in college my younger sister Sarah was diagnosed with leukemia. It wasn’t a lof of fun for the Schulte family in those days, and I later learned they actually only gave her a 5% chance to live. Well this December 9th marks the 10th anniversary of the bone marrow transplant that saved her life, and the start of ten years of being cancer free! To celebrate, my family has put together a benefit walk with all the proceeds going to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of New Hampshire. They even put together an online auction (if you are interested in any of the items, please email me and I can make sure your bid is represented in the live auction on September 22).

If you would like to make a donation, even if it’s just a buck, please contact me via email and I can make it happen (I have paypal, and checks are always welcome).

 Thanks!
