is retarded.

Yankee fans suck.

Wednesday, June 6th, 2007

We all know that Yankee fans are responsible for a lot of things wrong in the world (high taxes, global warming, the crisis in Darfur) but this is just ridiculous. I think the time has come to make being a Yankee fan illegal. Who’s with me?!

St. Paddy’s Day

Tuesday, March 20th, 2007

This St. Paddy’s Day weekend started out with a friggin’ hell of a snow storm. By Saturday morning we had over a foot of snow dumped on us. This didn’t stop me from seeing McCain however, nor did it stop me and the wife from going to (different) bars the night before (in the middle of the storm when the snow was coming down at a rate of 2 inches an hour) only to meet up later at a bar and go to another bar with some friends.

Saturday night a bunch of my buddies from Boston College (as well as a couple from work) came over and we drank (in honor of Saint Patrick, naturally) until 330 in the morning. I think we might have watched some of the hoops game (and the unfortunate BC loss), as well as the amazing BC win over UNH in the Hockey East finals.

Sunday morning was a little rough, but with some help from a local diner and plenty of “Vitamin G” things got better. K ended up going skiing with some friends and I tried to join them (I’d rather not discuss why I never made it up there). I ended up going to a Chinese restaurant for dinner (with the guys from work). The only reason I bring this up is because we sat at the bar (obviously) and the girl working there kept eating off the plates that she was clearing from the tables. She even yelled at one of my friends a little for half eating a piece of chicken and spitting it out on his plate (which she subsequently ate).  She was amazingly skinny however, and had a nice rack, so we let it slide.

All in all a pretty good weekend.

Raleigh, NC

Thursday, March 8th, 2007

Last weekend Kim and I (and Sarah and Robger) went to Raleigh, NC. A lot of groups at my company are moving there, so we flew down (on the company dime) to check it out. If you’re still interested, read below. (more…)

Blogging the Bible

Friday, September 22nd, 2006

This is actually pretty interesting. I’ve tried numerous times reading the Bible but could never get past the esoteric language used (especially in the Old Testament). This guy does a fairly good job of not only summing up each chapter, but provides a somewhat humorous commentary on each as well. Enjoy, I know I did.

Some of these are great. My favorites include, but are not limited to, Boom Goes the Dynamite, The Shining parody, Shatner’s Rocket Man, Mike Tyson, and Saved By the Bell. I LOVE YouTube, so feel free to post your favorites here.

Good Deal or Cheap Crap?

Wednesday, January 18th, 2006

A local music store in my town recently went out of business, which means for the last couple of weeks they have been trying to liquidate their store. Of course I’m somewhat retarded and just realized this on their last day, so my pickings were slim. However, I was able to pick up these 7 cds for a total of $35 so my question to you (my loyal readers) is did I get a good deal, or some (relatively) cheap crap?

I’m going to be rich

Friday, January 13th, 2006

If this article is any indication, my 100 shares of IPKL will soon make me a mint.  I suggest picking some up for yourself, at $0.30/share you’re likely to spend more money on commissions than on the actual stock itself.
